Youth Hockey Head & Assistant Coaches (8U-18U)

Be part of a grassroots, nonprofit, Tier 3 youth hockey organization located in lower Westchester, NY. We are dedicated to growing the game and developing young athletes from 8U through 18U. As we continue to strengthen our program, we are seeking dedicated coaches who share our commitment to player development, teamwork, and making hockey accessible to all.

- Be part of a growing, community-focused hockey program in Westchester County.
- Help develop young athletes in a structured, supportive, and competitive environment.
- Work with a passionate hockey community committed to making the game accessible and fun for all skill levels.
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute structured practice plans aligned with player development goals.
- Provide individual and team skill development, focusing on fundamentals and hockey IQ.
- Foster a positive and competitive environment, ensuring all players develop to their fullest potential.
- Work closely with the Director of Hockey to ensure program-wide consistency in coaching.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while representing NRLH.
Qualifications & Skills:
- USA Hockey Coach Certification required.
- Previous coaching or high-level playing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Passion for teaching and developing youth hockey players.
Compensation:
- Independent Contractor (1099 position).
- Competitive coaching stipends available based on experience.
- Opportunities for additional on-ice training compensation (skills sessions, clinics, etc.).
- Become part of a hockey community dedicated to fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and growing the game for the next generation of players.
