Player Code of Conduct

I understand that it is a privilege to be able to play youth hockey and that I must adhere to the highest standards of sportsmanship,

respect, and integrity.

As a player, I agree to the following:

• I will respect and adhere to the USA Hockey Code of Conduct.

• I will play for fun and work hard to improve my skills.

• I will be a team player, seek to get along with my teammates, and support them on and off the ice.

• I will be on time for practices and games and come prepared with the required equipment, including neck guards and

mouthgua rds.

• I will learn and follow the rules of the game, demonstrating good sportsmanship at all times.

• I will respect my coach, teammates, opponents, parents, officials, and volunteers.

• I will never argue with an official's decision or show unsportsmanlike conduct.

• I will not swear, use abusive language, or engage in inappropriate behavior on the bench, in the locker room, in the arena, or at

any team function.

• I will not throw equipment or behave in a way that disrespects my team.

• I will encourage good sportsmanship and positive support for all players, coaches, fans, volunteers, and referees.

• I will take responsibility for my own gear and equipment and ensure it is well maintained.

• I will not consume alcohol, drugs, or tobacco at the rink or during any team function.

• I will express any concerns through proper channels in a respectful manner.

• I understand that violating this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the

team.
